Terms of Use

1. Who can use Trimbo

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian agrees to your use of Trimbo and to any purchase you make.

2. Your account

Give correct information and keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at support@trimbo.app if you think someone else has access to it. You can delete your account at any time in the app.

3. The service

Trimbo uses AI to edit your videos based on your instructions, and offers tools such as captions, hooks, scripts and video ideas. We keep improving the app, so features can change, be added or be removed.

AI can make mistakes. Captions can contain wrong words, edits may not match what you asked, and suggestions may be inaccurate. Always review the result before you publish it. We do not guarantee views, followers or any other result on social media.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the videos, photos, audio and text you upload and to the videos you create with Trimbo.

To provide the service, you give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process and edit your content, and to send it to our service providers (including our AI providers), only to run Trimbo for you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content for advertising and do not sell it.

You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload, including music, images and other people's voices and faces, and that you have the consent of people who appear in your videos where that is required.

5. What you may not do

You may not use Trimbo to:

• create or share illegal content, including content that sexualises minors;
• harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against others;
• infringe someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy;
• make deceptive content of real people (such as deepfakes) without their consent, or content meant to mislead or defraud;
• spread malware or attack, overload or disrupt the service;
• get around usage limits, copy or scrape the service, or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Plans and payments

Trimbo has a free plan with daily limits. Paid plans, when available, are sold through the App Store or Google Play and are also subject to their terms.

• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them.
• You cancel and request refunds through the App Store or Google Play, not through us. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
• We show the price and what each plan includes before you buy. If we change the price of a subscription, we tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

7. Fair use

Each plan has limits, for example on the number of AI requests per day and the size or length of uploads. We may adjust limits to keep the service fair and affordable for everyone. We show the current limits in the app.

8. Third-party services

You can sign in with Google or Apple and buy plans through app stores. Those services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for them.

9. Our rights

The Trimbo app, name, logo and design belong to us. These terms do not give you any right to use them other than to use the app.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Trimbo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires it. Where possible, we tell you first and give you time to download your videos.

11. Liability

We do our best to keep Trimbo working and your data safe, but we provide the service "as is" and cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost income, lost followers or lost opportunities, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. None of this limits our liability for intent or gross negligence, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we update the date at the top. For significant changes, we tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before the changes take effect.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. Disputes go to the competent courts of Antwerp, unless the law gives you the right to go to the courts where you live. Contact us first at support@trimbo.app; most problems can be solved quickly.
